On Sunday, April 30, 2017, my brother shot himself in his right temple.
It was quick. It was over before it started. He was 32 and had aspergers. He has 4 siblings. Two children. He was a disabled man who battled homelessness and charcott marie tooth disease. He was, most of the time, a gentle giant with an amazing sense of humor. He loved Tupac.
My mom is so distraught she nearly had a heart attack. My 8 and 13 year old nieces cried for 2 hours. My sister is blank. His brothers are in shock.
He’s dead, and our hearts are broken. We are in shock. We are blindsided by this tragedy, and we have no possible way to bury or cremate him. South Carolina will pay, at most, $700 towards his funerary costs.
We desperately need help to bury our beloved brother and son, Thomas. We’d like to have a small gathering, some flowers, and a headstone. I have no idea how much it’ll cost, but anything, anything at all, helps. Please.
